Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst will support enterprise liquidity and banking operations, assist in Treasury Capital Management, and ensure compliance with internal controls while collaborating with various teams. Responsibilities Monitor and adjust cash positions across entities, currencies, and banks; Resolve transaction issues and inquiries with financial partners; Forecast short-term cash needs; Ensures the enterprise maintains adequate liquidity at the lowest cost while supporting business growth Maintain relationships with banks, custodians, and payment providers; Analyze bank service utilization and fees; Support enterprise bank administrative functions; Balances service quality, risks and costs across bank relationships Provide back-office support for debt issuance and refinancing activities; Maintain debt schedules and interest expense forecasts; Serve as a multi-team resource for tasks and projects in Treasury Cash Management, Treasury Capital Markets and Procurement; Ensures accurate financial reporting and risk mitigation Monitor short-term investment portfolios (money market, STIF); Aligns operational needs with short-term investment performance and risk appetite Ensure compliance with investment guidelines, treasury policies, and internal controls; Participate in audits and regulatory exams; Strengthens treasury’s control environment and risk governance Serve as a power user for the treasury workstation, payment platforms, and bank portals; Suggest ideas for improving automation, data quality, transparency, reporting or reconciliation; Support system upgrades and integrations; Increases scalability and reduces manual risk Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 0-2 years in corporate treasury, finance, or banking operations Familiarity with cash forecasting, liquidity management, banking platforms as well as treasury management and ERP systems CTP or CFA designation valued Highly adept at multitasking while supporting treasury and procurement operations Advanced Excel and data visualization capabilities Knowledge of bank connectivity, SWIFT, and payment systems is preferred Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Benefits Medical Dental Vision Wellbeing Reimbursement Account Paid Time Off Holiday Schedules Financial Planning Time Off Paid Parental Leave Adoption Assistance Program 401k savings plan with company match and an additional contribution regardless of participation Company Overview Pacific Life Insurance is an insurance company that provides life insurance products, annuities, and mutual funds.
