Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst will provide cash management, forecasting, and oversight while implementing strategies for mitigating foreign exchange risk across various business units.ResponsibilitiesSupport daily treasury activities including liquidity management, foreign exchange back-office trade settlements, intercompany transactions and banking operationsSupport the company’s cash and liquidity rolling forecast process including active engagement with business units, FP&A and Controllership to improve accuracy, reduce variances and identify key drivers and trendsEvaluate opportunities to optimize cash visibility and reporting, streamline processes through automation and enhance internal controlsBuild scalable reporting and dashboards to enhance the accuracy, and timeliness of treasury reporting and analyticsEngage with the local businesses Finance, Tax, and Accounting teams regarding treasury related servicesParticipate in special projects to support the long-term Treasury StrategySkillsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modelingHighly motivated with a positive attitudeThrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortable managing competing projects and deliverables on tight timelinesAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and fluid environmentExcellent interpersonal skills (oral, written & listening)Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related degree preferredCTP or other professional designation a plus1+ years of relevant treasury/finance role preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on quantitative analysis and Power BI Reporting and Dashboards, a plusFamiliarity with banking platforms, Quantum, Trax, Chatham and FXAll a plusKnowledge of FX markets, and related financial instrumentsKnowledge of media industry, a plusBenefitsMedical, dental and vision insurance401(k)Paid leaveTuition reimbursementA variety of other discounts and perksCompany OverviewNBCUniversal is a media company that provides entertainment and news development, production, distribution, and marketing services.
