Traveling Assistant Project Manager
Job Description: • Manage design, engineering, and construction of solar projects • Develop and execute project work plans • Support management and budget updates • Oversee procurement and bidding process • Coordinate engineering support for development • Facilitate project meetings and status updates • Coordinate with legal for project contract negotiations • Assist in project completion transitions • Oversee quality control during project execution • Manage compliance with interconnection and power purchase agreements Requirements: • Prior experience as a lead Assistant Project Manager on renewable power projects • Familiarity with contracting procedures and project contracts • Ability to travel and work on remote solar projects • Ability to interpret project financial reports • General understanding of project scheduling software • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Experience with project risk management and mitigation • Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Valid driver’s license • 24/7 on-call availability when at project location • Able to work at heights and perform essential physical functions Benefits: • Merit-based salary increases • Incentive plan participation • Eligibility for 401(k) plan and matching • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance • 18 vacation days in the first year • Paid holidays • Paid volunteer time • Paid parental leave Apply tot his job
