Travel Telemetry RN in Powell, TN

A rewarding role is available for an experienced RN with Telemetry skills to provide expert nursing care within a specialized Cardiac Unit. Qualifications & Desired Experience
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or cardiac specialty units
• Current BLS certification from AHA and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to assignment start
• Comfortable working with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:7 to 1:8, possibly operating within a team nursing model
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed
• Reliable attendance with weekend shifts every other weekend or 2 per month

Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Specialty Unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry equipment accurately to assess patient cardiac functions
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols, including documentation and compliance requirements
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation and maintain readiness for a 3 x 12-hour day shift schedule (07:00 – 19:30)

• No on-call duties required
• Travelers should note that holiday time off requests during specified periods may not be accommodated; these can be discussed on-site with the nurse manager after assignment commencement
• This is a travel nursing assignment requiring flexibility and adaptability
