Travel Telemetry Nurse (RN) in High Point, NC
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Med Surg and Telemetry nursing to provide high-quality care on a travel assignment in High Point, NC. This role is tailored for professionals skilled in managing diverse patient populations, including observation, respiratory, general medical-surgical, palliative, hospice, psychiatric, diabetic, and surgical care. First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
ā¢ Active RN license with at least 2 years of clinical experience
ā¢ Proficiency in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
ā¢ BLS certification required
ā¢ Ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding
ā¢ Previous Charge RN experience preferred
ā¢ Comfortable with providing care to complex patient populations including end-of-life and psychiatric observation patients
ā¢ Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system is a plus
ā¢ Flexibility with scheduling and the capacity to float across multiple healthcare units
Responsibilities / Duties:
ā¢ Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM ā 7:00 AM), three days per week (every other week) with holiday shifts as needed
ā¢ Monitor and manage patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions on a telemetry-capable medical-surgical unit
ā¢ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care and support family members
ā¢ Comply with all facility policies including punctuality and adherence to attendance guidelines
ā¢ Participate in a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
