Travel Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Fairport, NY
Deliver vital patient care and advanced telemetry monitoring as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced unit. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by ensuring patient safety and supporting clinical teams in an acute care environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
ā¢ Current, active RN license
ā¢ Demonstrated experience in Telemetry or Cardiac Care nursing
ā¢ Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
ā¢ Advanced knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
ā¢ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
ā¢ BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
ā¢ Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms and promptly report changes
ā¢ Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
ā¢ Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
ā¢ Respond to emergencies and provide rapid, effective intervention
ā¢ Communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans and condition updates
ā¢ Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
