Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU)
About the positionThe Travel Nurse (RN) specializes in Telemetry and Stepdown care, providing critical nursing support during night shifts in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience and proficiency in Cerner, BLS, and ACLS certifications, along with skills in cardiac monitoring and emergency response. Ideal candidates will possess experience in teaching hospitals and Level I Trauma centers, with the ability to float to like units as needed. Responsibilities • Provide critical nursing support in Telemetry and Stepdown care during night shifts.• Monitor cardiac patients and respond to emergencies as needed. • Float to like units to meet facility needs. • Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips without titration. • Administer medications and manage IV therapy and phlebotomy tasks. • Perform gastrointestinal and renal case management as required.
