What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and analyze carrier rate increases and vendor compliance
- Manage and convey purchase order information to merchandisers
- Schedule and facilitate onboarding for new vendors and carriers
- Serve as a point of contact to resolve transportation service issues
- Collaborate with planning teams to address load and merchandise problems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation management solutions and vendor relations
- At least 3 years of experience with international distribution vendors and freight carriers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in international logistics management
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills in a supply chain context
- Previous experience in a retail or home goods environment
