Transportation Rep/Scheduler
Salt Lake City, UT or Tulsa, OK or Houston, TX work site
Duration: Contract or Contract-to-Direct Hire
Start date: ASAP
Pay range: $40-60/hr DOE
Rotating schedule working day shift, nights, weekends and holidays. (Onsite for day shift but can work remote for other shifts/weekends/holidays)
Job responsibilities:
The Transportation Rep is responsible for nominating, scheduling, confirming and balancing natural gas flow volumes with suppliers, purchasers, and pipelines.
They will monitor gas volumes and evaluate and reduce pipeline imbalances, analyze data, and monitor and reconcile imbalances.
Troubleshoots customer issues as they arise; Serves as the first point of contact with customers for scheduling related issues
Supervises gas volumes and evaluates and reduces pipeline imbalances for shippers and operators; Communicates with Pipeline Control on confirmation and imbalance management as needed
Tracks and evaluates pipeline maintenance schedules and communicates proactively with customers to ensure they are well advised
Manages and maintains relationships with pipeline and scheduling representatives to ensure operational integrity
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma /GED
Preferred: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience and understanding of accounting principles and procedures for gas accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel, and PC skills
Strong problem solving, customer service and communication skills
Ability to work a rotating schedule with nights, weekends and holidays
