Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transportation department, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of goods and materials. Develop and maintain transportation budgets, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in transportation technology to continuously improve processes and procedures. Communicate with upper management and provide regular updates on transportation performance and initiatives.
