Job Summary of Transportation Driver:
The primary function is to drive commercial vehicles for the secure and efficient transportation of goods and materials. The role necessitates strict adherence to safety protocols, timely deliveries, and open communication with colleagues.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Transportation Driver:
ā¢ Drive and manage the transportation of merchandise and materials to specified locations using commercial vehicles.
ā¢ Properly position and secure cargo when loading and unloading to ensure safety.
ā¢ Maintain adherence to traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
ā¢ Keep meticulous and timely records of all deliveries.
ā¢ Develop robust communication channels with dispatchers and other team members for coordinated efforts.
Qualifications and Experience of Transportation Driver:
ā¢ Requirement includes a spotless driving record and possession of a valid CDL A or B license.
ā¢ For entry-level roles, having experience as a commercial driver is preferred but not a strict requirement.
