Transportation Dispatcher- Fuel - Petroleum remote

Seale & Son, Inc. is looking for an experienced Fuel Dispatcher, night shift (7P-7A). You must have fuel dispatching experience to be considered. We are a large fuel transporter and distributor operating in Southeast US. You will train in Sumter for several weeks; then work remote from SC, NC, GA or TN. Responsibilities and Duties • 12-hour shift, 4 on, 4 off schedule • Manage customer’s inventory through systems and analysis • Acknowledge orders and provide accurate delivery windows based on a thorough understanding of current workload and workforce • Analyze workload and determine most efficient means to deliver fuel with focus on costs, priorities and logistics • Utilize computer system to dispatch loads in the proper order and ensure drivers complete workload • Communicate directly with customers and drivers in a professional and efficient manner • Create ongoing notes and reports of all activity during shift • Assist drivers with the in-cab billing and ELD system Qualifications and Skills • AT least 6 mos petroleum (fuel) transportation dispatching experience a must! Please do not apply if you do not have any of this experience. • Excellent computer skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.) and ability to quickly learn new apps • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal • Team player with strong self-motivation and drive • Proficient at multi-tasking • High level of initiative • Must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment and remain calm and professional Benefits JH Seale offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
