Translation and/or Interpretation Providers
Job Description • Simultaneous and/or Consecutive Interpretation for virtual or in-person meetings, conferences, and events. • Written Translation, Editing, and Transcription of documents, reports, surveys, presentations, etc. • Localization and Cultural Adaptation of materials as needed. • Language Consulting , including support for building multilingual resources. Requirements • Proven experience in professional translation and/or interpretation services, managing complex, large-scale, or multi-language projects. • Native or near-native fluency in target language(s) and strong command of English. • Familiarity with terminology relevant to our field of work (e.g., social justice, grantmaking, feminist philanthropy) from a global lens. • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments. • Familiarity with technology and collaborative communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Outlook, Word). • (For interpreters ) , proven expertise with facilitating live interpretation via Zoom using the simultaneous interpretation function. • Ability to effectively manage invoices, including tracking payment requests and submissions in accordance with agreed upon timelines and billing procedures.
