Translation and Localization Project Management Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Officer to support our translation and localization operations. This role will coordinate projects across internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost control for multilingual content and localization initiatives. The successful candidate will be organized, communicative, and familiar with translation workflows, CAT tools, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Delivery
Manage end-to-end translation and localization projects from intake to delivery, tracking schedules, milestones and deliverablesVendor & Supplier Management
Onboard, evaluate and coordinate freelance linguists and translation agenciesNegotiate rates, manage purchase orders and monitor vendor performance against SLAsQuality Assurance
Implement QA checks and post-editing guidelines to ensure linguistic and functional qualityCo-ordinate linguistic reviews, in-country testing and bug tracking with product and QA teams
Qualifications & Requirements:
2–3 years of experience as a Localization Project Manager or in a similar roleUniversity graduate (Bachelors degree or equivalent)For male candidates: completion of military service or official exemption (if applicable)Proven experience in the translation and localization industryStrong understanding of:Localization workflowsMTPE processesQA/QC practicesCAT tools and TMS platformsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlinesExcellent English communication skills (written and spoken)Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsComfortable working full-time in the US time zoneBased in Egypt with a reliable internet connection and remote-work setup Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
