Key Responsibilities:
Lead a talented development team in crafting, testing, and deploying scalable data solutions, ensuring seamless data transfer and ingestion
Provide guidance, mentorship, and timely feedback to foster career growth and excellence within the team
Architect and lead cloud infrastructure activities, creating robust design patterns and ensuring best practices for data curation and serving solutions in GCP
Optimize designs and processes to accelerate time-to-market for new products, advancing enterprise data standards and metadata management
Collaborate with the Data Science team to ensure frictionless data transfer and drive business growth through data-driven insights
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in designing and building large-scale data ingestion, storage, and processing solutions
3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming, with a strong proficiency in Python
3+ years of experience leading teams that deploy enterprise data and analytics solutions, with a proven track record of success
3+ years of experience architecting, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise data solutions in cloud platforms, with expertise in GCP
Broad cloud application and infrastructure architectural experience, with a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts
Experience with data processing tools such as Airflow, Apache Beam, and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and processes, with experience in Git source code repositories and GitLab
