Job Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Sales Director to spearhead our Life Science Americas Team, driving business growth, and fostering a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and productivity, aligning with Element's 'go-to-market' strategy
Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team, comprising Business Development Directors, Managers, and Associates, as well as Inside Sales Managers and Quotation Management Teams
Foster a proactive, positive, and enterprise-focused sales approach, ensuring seamless execution and collaboration with cross-functional teams
Drive new customer acquisition, penetration, and account management, leveraging your expertise to advance sales opportunities and grow our market share
Represent regional sales in business reviews, reporting, and leadership forums, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
Ensure compliance with Element's policies, procedures, and applicable laws, maintaining the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and governance
Requirements:
5-10 years of sales management experience, with a proven track record of building and leading elite sales teams
Experience managing teams of 50+ generating $200m+, with a strong background in life science disciplines (pharmaceutical, environmental, consumer products, medical device, food testing, etc.)
Previous experience in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industry, with a deep understanding of testing procedures, requirements, and regulations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to drive business growth, improve processes, and optimize results
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel), with experience in interpreting testing procedures, requirements, and customer specifications
Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events, projects, and customer engagements, with a strong presence and professional demeanor
