Assists in managing aspects of programs. Assists defining requirements and designing and implementing project modifications and development. Recommends changes or alternate paths as appropriate.We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an individual who will be working as part of a dynamic Business Project Management team, on one of the biggest transformation programmes in the world, you’ll be accountable for initiatives which will enable us to deliver our transformation initiatives.Job OverviewBe accountable for project delivery from discovery to post-live adoptionEnsuring we deliver a quality product, on time, to scope and to budgetTracking and reporting project performance to all stakeholders: internal and externalManaging, quality, budget, schedule and RAIDS for the lifecycle of your projectAdhere to the project/programme controls and governance frameworks - Managing resources during the delivery of the projectKeep our stakeholders informed by ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and reflects progress against the deliverables.Being creative and user centric mannerManaging RAIDS and ensure mitigation to remove/reduce risk are being actionedSupport in business playback sessions, signs off and ensure all documentation up to dateOwn the backlog of work ensuring it’s driven from a value-based prioritisation processIdentifying opportunities for continual improvement and innovation in our change approachWhat You Will Be DoingLeading one or more projectsAssist in managing aspects of larger programsAssisting defining requirements and designing and implementing project modifications and developmentRecommending changes or alternate paths as appropriateCreating and implementing project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for one or more medium sized projects of low to moderate complexityPreparing detailed statements of work and gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders regarding various project aspects and adjusts accordinglyParticipating in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and proceduresAssisting in the staffing of projectsOrganising project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectivesManaging costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables.Ensuring schedule and budget are metPerforming ongoing review of project status; identify possible project RAIDSRecommending and implementing risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriateWorking in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule of the projectProviding input on possible changes needed based on current project status Manages client, company, and project team expectations for agreed upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metricsRecommending changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metricsManaging Off Shore assigned personnel for projectsAssigning work and providing direction about timeliness and completion of project objectives.Addressing performance issues within prescribed guidelinesProviding performance input upon completion of projectPeople What We're Looking For A minimum of 5 Years Project Management ExperienceExperience in leading Medium to Large Projects, with budgets from £100k upwards and multiple cross functional stakeholdersProject Management experience in a regulated Financial Services organization(s)Experience in delivery ownership, delivering on promises and delivering on time, every timeStrong numeracy, verbal, and literacy skillsComputer literacy with working knowledge of Outlook and MS OfficeAlways working to a high level of accuracy with attention to detailStrong organisational, personal and time management skills to balance and prioritize workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood analytical and problem-solving skillsConfident and motivatedStrong communications skills to interface with all levels of stakeholdersChange and transformation experienceAn innovative, challenging, and continuous delivery mindsetThe ability to publicly represent company with internal and external clientsThe ability to use your judgement and initiative in problem resolutionConcerned you don’t meet every single requirement, don't let that stop you - apply anyway.
