We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Transition Specialist Teacher to join our team at Hillsboro School District. As a Transition Specialist Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting and developing successful learning for students, performing instructional and related duties in accordance with District Policies and terms of the teacher contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and develop successful learning for students
Perform instructional and related duties in accordance with District Policies and terms of the teacher contract
Maintain a cooperative attitude with staff, parents, and students
Effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or backgrounds
Requirements:
Valid State of Oregon Teaching License with correct endorsement
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
Proficient in the use of computer and Internet-based applications
