Transfer Specialist
Hub Financial, a division of HUB International, is one of Canada’s largest independent Managing General Agencies specializing in life insurance, investments, and wealth management. In this role, you will manage advisor block transfers, ensuring accurate updates of servicing and commissionable broker changes while maintaining strong relationships with brokers and insurance carriers. Responsibilities Process advisor Buy/Sell agreements on block transfers and Reassignments to ensure full servicing and commission changes reflecting the advisor and MGA changes Establish and maintain strong working relationships with insurance companies and work in partnership with them to facilitate timely processing of transfer requests Maintain accurate and up-to-date broker and block transfer information in WealthServ Follow up consistently with carriers to ensure transfer requests are completed within the required timelines Obtain client listings from insurance companies as required to complete investigations or block transfers Prepare and submit transfer forms to brokers and insurance companies Support transfer investigations and resolve discrepancies as they arise Participate in project work Skills A positive attitude, the constant desire to help others, curiosity, and the ability to deliver consistent performance Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments A collaborative mindset and comfort building relationships with internal and external partners Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel & most online meeting platforms Experience in financial services, insurance, or MGA operations Experience in contracting and block transfers Experience using APEXA and WealthServ 1-2 years of relevant experience Benefits Competitive Compensation: Benefit from a pay structure that includes incentives, bonuses, and opportunities to increase your earnings.
