Piedmont Global Language Solutions (PGLS) is looking for Transcribers/Translators, of all spoken languages. Locations: Onsite in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) and Remote opportunities available, Contingent upon contract award. Job Description: Transcribe audio material and translate written material from the target language to (and from) English. All linguists will be required to complete a short assessment as part of the vetting process after the necessary clearance is granted. Requirements • 1+ year (s) of experience of translating, transcribing, or interpreting from the requested language into English. • Basic technical knowledge is needed. • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust background determination. • Clearance requires a background check, drug test and credit check.
