You'll need to be able to deliver files within 24 hours or less for an hour-long file, and have a strong understanding of language, style, and punctuation.
Key Responsibilities
Transcribe audio and video files with high accuracy and attention to detail
Deliver files within 24 hours or less for an hour-long file
Follow our in-house style manual and project-specific instructions
Verify names and terms via brief internet research
Return transcripts as .doc files, meeting formatting requirements and functionality standards
Requirements
To be successful as a transcriptionist with Workwarp, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum of 80 wpm)
Strong language, style, and punctuation skills
Ability to follow our in-house style manual and project-specific instructions
Ability to verify names and terms via brief internet research
Reliable internet connection
Ability to use transcription software controlled via hotkeys or a foot pedal
Good-quality headphones to cut down on ambient noise
Preferred Qualifications
