Transcriptionist
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Laboratory Services, transcribes from a dictating machine, all types of pathology reports as dictated by the Pathologists. Provides secretarial/office support to the Pathology Department. Duties include transcription, use and scheduling maintenance on office equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
ā¢ Two years of secretarial or clerical experience and pathology dictation transcription required
ā¢ HSD/GED OR 2 years equivalent work experience
ā¢ Requires working knowledge of modern office terminology and computer applications
ā¢ Good written and and verbal communication skills required
ā¢ Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
ā¢ Must be proficient with Word proccessing
