The role involves supporting corporate transactions through due diligence, contract review, and managing deal rooms, while leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.ResponsibilitiesFocus on a range of matters including due diligence and contract reviewSetting up and managing deal roomsDrafting closing documents and managing the collection of signaturesAssisting with assembly of disclosure schedulesManaging the closing agenda and the electronic closing roomPreparing and filing of closing books and updating of minute booksAssisting in the evaluation, selection and implementation of technologies that improve Osler Works - Transactional’s efficiencyOther routine corporate legal work relating to transactionsSkillsBe called to the Ontario Bar (new calls are welcome to apply)Be bilingual (French and English)Have corporate law experience, specifically in M&A, Private Equity, and/or Capital MarketsIdeally have prior experience with due diligence, contract analysis, closings, and other routine elements of complex transactionsBe proficient using technology and adaptable to changeCompany OverviewOsler is a leading business law firm uniquely positioned to advise Canadian, U.S. It was founded in 1862, and is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, CAN, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
