Job description: .Position SummaryThe Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging training content that supports the professional development of center staff and leaders across the organization. This role will manage the Learning Management System (LMS), coordinate logistics for company-wide in-service training days and leadership development programs, and ensure compliance with all required training mandates for center-based employees. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English & Spanish), detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about staff development in an early childhood education setting.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Development & Delivery
Design and deliver high-quality, interactive training for center staff, with a focus on classroom practices, child safety, customer service, kitchen safety and leadership development
Adapt and tailor content for various audiences including teachers, assistant teachers, cooks, Center Directors, and District Leaders
Facilitate in-person and virtual trainings using adult learning best practices
LMS Management
Oversee the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading content, assigning training paths, and ensure process user access
Track completion rates and generate reports for internal and licensing compliance
Troubleshoot technical issues and serve as the main point of contact for LMS-related questions
Training Coordination & Logistics
Plan and execute all logistics for in-service training days, including logistics, communications, materials, locations, and content coordination
Organize and support onboarding and ongoing training sessions for Center Directors, Assistant Directors, and other leadership roles
Maintain and update the master training calendar
Compliance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor and track completion of all required training for center-based staff to ensure compliance with company policies and state licensing regulations
Maintain accurate training records and documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in training development and delivery, ideally in an early childhood, education, or multi-site operational setting
Experience managing a Learning Management System (e.g., Paylocity, Thinkific, Procare, or similar)
Strong facilitation and public speaking skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passion for early childhood education and staff development
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design tools (e.g., Canva, Articulate, Google Slides)
Knowledge of licensing training requirements for early childhood education
Working Conditions:
Some evening or weekend hours may be required for training events
Occasional travel to centers for on-site support and training facilitation
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range is $50-60k and depends on qualifications, education, and experience. Position is eligible for annual performance bonus.
