The role:
The Trainer and Assessor is responsible for delivering and assessing vocational education and training (VET) courses in accordance with the Standards for RTOs. The role involves engaging students through effective training methods, maintaining compliance in assessment practices, and ensuring learners are job-ready upon completion. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging training across face-to-face, blended, and online environmentsConduct assessments and provide constructive feedback in line with compliance requirementsMaintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomesDevelop and update training resources while staying current with industry trendsEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and foster a safe, inclusive learning environmentQualifications:Skills and ExperienceMust hold a Diploma in Building and ConstructionCertificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)Demonstrated experience in apprenticeship-based trainingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHigh attention to detail, time management, and LMS/CRM proficiencyAdditional Information:Valid Australian working rights & Working with Children's Check (Employee) or willingness to obtainPolice CheckWillingness to travel to training venues and worksitesParticipation in ongoing PD and compliance trainingQuestions about your identity help us appreciate the diversity of individuals looking to work with us, ensuring weβre attracting applications from people with identities and perspectives that are as diverse as our students.
