We are looking for a Trainee/Junior C++ Developer who wants to be part of Tieto Tech Consulting and join our growing R&D team. Tieto Tech Consulting works as a true partner, solving clients’ toughest technology challenges and delivering reliable outcomes that drive measurable results. By merging data, cloud, AI and design with deep industry expertise, we create impactful yet intuitive digital solutions that empower people and move businesses forward.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow software engineering skills in the Telecom domain, with a focus on 5G network applications. We offer a training program lasting up to 2 months, during which you will learn key theoretical concepts of software development and explore the architectural aspects of mobile networks used in our projects. You will be encouraged to design your own test project (a prototype of a mobile network), and with the guidance of our trainers, you’ll be able to apply both theoretical and practical knowledge in your daily work.
During the course, you will gain hands-on experience in
Designing and implementing message-based protocols using Protocol Buffers
Managing state machines
Using concurrency-free jobs
Build with Cmake
Writing unit tests with Google Test
Handling errors effectively
The test project will be developed using the C++ programming language (C++14/17)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
Basic knowledge of C++
Familiarity with Unix/Linux
English level B1 or higher
Willingness to learn quickly
Creativity and problem-solving skills
