We serve entrepreneurs, professionals, and retirees through a combination of personalized financial advisory and proprietary technology.Our team includes advisors, tax professionals, investment specialists, product designers, engineers, and operators working together to build the financial institution of the future.The RoleThe Trading Associate plays a critical role on Compound’s Trade Desk, supporting portfolio implementation across client accounts.This person will help execute trades, manage portfolio allocations, and ensure efficient implementation of the firm’s investment strategies.The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience trading within an RIA or wealth management environment, and brings strong familiarity with Orion Advisor Technology, with a focus on Eclipse & sleeve-based trading.As a fast-growing firm, priorities can shift quickly. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, operationally strong, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed both matter.This position is 100% remote.What You’ll DoExecute trades across equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, and options with accuracy and efficiencyImplement and rebalance portfolios within a sleeve-based structureMaintain and trade model portfolios across client accountsUse Orion Advisor Technology (Eclipse) to execute trades, rebalance portfolios, and monitor driftMonitor portfolio cash balances, trade settlements, and cash movements to ensure liquidity needs are metPerform daily reconciliation of prior-day trades to confirm completeness and accuracyIdentify accounts requiring action (new cash, new assets, out-of-tolerance positions, or cash raise requests)Maintain and update custodial restrictions across trading systemsCollaborate with investment, advisory, and operations teams to ensure smooth portfolio implementationIdentify opportunities to improve trading workflows through automation, process improvements, and technologyAssist advisors and client service teams with Trade Desk questions and proceduresWhat Success Looks LikeTrades are executed accurately, efficiently, and with minimal operational frictionAdvisors trust the Trade Desk as a reliable partner in portfolio implementationPortfolio rebalancing and drift management are handled proactively and consistentlyProcesses become faster, more automated, and more scalableThe Trade Desk operates smoothly even during periods of high trading volumeQualificationsRequired:Series 65 or Series 662–4 years of trading experience at an RIA, wealth management firm, broker-dealer, or investment firmExperience using Orion EclipseStrong proficiency with Microsoft ExcelPreferred:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related fieldExperience with Fidelity and Schwab custodial platformsKnowledge of sleeve-based trading and model portfolio constructionExperience trading equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, and options in managed accountsExperience with tax-efficient portfolio rebalancingFamiliarity with SalesforceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfort working in a high-growth, fast-paced environmentWorking at CompoundCompound is building the modern digital family office.Our culture prioritizes focus, ownership, and high standards.
