Tower Technician (Treasure Valley Area)
About the position
The Tower Technician role at Anthem Broadband involves construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tower sites primarily in the Treasure Valley area. This position is distinct from traditional cell tower jobs, as most work occurs at lower heights, often below 110 feet. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, with on-call responsibilities and a strong emphasis on safety and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
Ā Focus on growing the Anthem Broadband tower network

Ā Participate in tower construction projects

Ā Address network issues that arise in the Treasure Valley

Ā Install Wireless Access Point equipment on towers
,
Ā Upgrade capacity and redundancy for the Anthem network

Ā Troubleshoot issues with equipment

Ā Erect new tower sites
Requirements
Ā High School diploma
,
Ā Driver's license
,
Ā 1 year of construction experience
,
Ā Clean driving record
,
Ā Troubleshooting skills
,
Ā Ability to climb 300+ ft
,
Ā Attention to safety
,
Ā Motivation to learn wireless radio and DC power systems

Ā OSHA and JSA knowledge
