Tower Technician (Treasure Valley Area)
About the position Responsibilities • Focus on growing the Anthem Broadband tower network • Participate in tower construction projects • Address network issues that arise in the Treasure Valley • Install Wireless Access Point equipment on towers • Upgrade capacity and redundancy for the Anthem network • Troubleshoot issues with equipment • Erect new tower sites Requirements • High School diploma • Driver's license • 1 year of construction experience • Clean driving record • Troubleshooting skills • Ability to climb 300+ ft • Attention to safety • Motivation to learn wireless radio and DC power systems Nice-to-haves • OSHA and JSA knowledge • Basic experience working on a construction or tower site • Experience with basic and powered hand tools • Motivated with ability to stay focused without direct supervision • Experience with wireless infrastructure and equipment Benefits • Health benefits • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Health savings account • Paid time off • Free internet package • Tower rescue, DOT Med Card, OSHA, and CPR training Apply tot his job
