Title Processing Manager

About the position

The Title & Escrow Processing Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the processing team, ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely processing of closing transactions. This role involves managing the team, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Ā• Manage and supervise the processing team and provide support for the pre-processing team.

Ā• Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
,
Ā• Provide training, mentorship, and support to ensure team proficiency in title and escrow processes.
,
Ā• Oversee the end-to-end processing of title and escrow transactions, ensuring adherence to company policies and state laws.
,
Ā• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, errors, or delays in the transaction process.
,
Ā• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices for process improvement.
,
Ā• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including RESPA and ALTA best practices.
,
Ā• Monitor financial transactions, including escrow accounts, to prevent errors and mitigate risks.
,
Ā• Conduct audits to identify and address compliance gaps and ensure continuing education through underwriter platforms.
,
Ā• Oversee the use of title and escrow software platform, Qualia, to ensure operational efficiency.
,
Ā• Generate regular reports on team performance, transaction timelines, compliance metrics, and customer feedback.
,
Ā• Function as a point of escalation for complex issues with clients, lenders, agents, or attorneys.

Requirements
Ā• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
,
Ā• Minimum 5 years of experience in processing, with at least 5 years within the organization.
,
Ā• Basic knowledge of title in TN, KY, AL, and VA.
,
Ā• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role is preferred.
,
Ā• Strong understanding of title and escrow processes, laws, and industry best practices.
,
Ā• Familiarity with escrow software systems and tools, particularly Qualia.
,
Ā• Excellent leadership, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
,
Ā• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
,
Ā• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
,
Ā• Proficiency in financial reconciliation and reporting.

Nice-to-haves
Ā• Underwriting training provided.

Ā• Experience with Microsoft Office (3 years required).
