Title Examiner **MUST BE LICENSED IN COLORADO**

Company: Title Now Position: Licensed Title Examiner (Contractor) Pay: TBD Location: Remote Hours: 15-20 hrs week Note: This is a contracting position. Overview: TitleNow is seeking a licensed Title Examiner to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be familiar with SoftPro, Property Insight, SKLD, and county accounts. Experience with purchase commitments is required, and commercial experience is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: • Conduct land record searches online and at local courthouses (rarely needed - most searches are online). • Examine titles ranging from routine to complex, in accordance with company procedures and local examining practices, to determine the status of the title. • Abstract and analyze deeds, mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, mineral reservations, and other relevant instruments. • Respond to inquiries from company employees, attorneys, and customers regarding the status and insurability of legal titles. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for examining and interpreting title records. • Ability to accurately locate and compile information that affects the status of property titles. • Ability to work effectively with others, and meet deadlines, especially when working in a remote environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in operating computers and relevant peripherals.
