These positions will serve as testing team members for new functionality being added to the Ohio Benefits (OB) Eligibility system to support the Early Childhood Education grant.
Key Responsibilities Include
Ā Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
Ā Perform functional and non-functional testing (e.g., regression, performance, user acceptance).
Ā Execute manual or automated tests to ensure the software meets both business and technical requirements.
Ā Facilitate UAT sessions by helping business users test and validate the solution before production.
Ā Perform both positive and negative testing according to the scenario.
Ā Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on the progress of testing, issues, and resolutions.
Ā Maintain traceability of business requirements through testing to ensure all requirements are met.
Ā Document test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to the team.
Ā Familiarity with user acceptance testing methodologies and tools.
Ā Ability to clearly convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ā Ability to spot discrepancies between requirements and the proposed solution.
Ā Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and address issues.
Ā Previous history or familiarity with State of Ohio systems.
Ā Previous history or familiarity with systems serving Early Care and Education programs.
Ā Previous history or familiarity with Ohio Benefits.
