Tester 3

Work Location: NA% Remote Individual will be utilizing their own equipment for this role. A Laptop with Windows 10 or higher and high-speed internet are required Top 3 Skills: Experience with validation testing. Detailed documentation skills. Experience writing test cases in a team environment. The Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of General Services, is seeking an experienced Tester 3 to support its Surplus Property AssetWorks project. The role involves co-developing and executing test cases, maintaining comprehensive test documentation, and uploading test cases and related materials. They will be validating the testing completed by the vendor. Reporting to the Project Manager overseeing the AssetWorks project for the PMO, this position will be responsible for collaborating with the project team to complete the testing processes carried out by internal quality assurance business analysts or management analysts. Role Description: • Plans and reviews test models for product test • Translate Business Process Document to scripts in team environment • Plans product test with, team members, and the Project Manager • Approves Entry/Exit criteria to be used • Ensures that test design remains within project scope • Communicates accurate and useful status reports to technical and non-technical users • Develops options and recommendations to assist Test Team members in resolving issues. • Conducts post project reviews and quality assessments. • Defines testing quality standards as needed • Ensures that defined processes are followed • Reviews and understands the Test Teamwork plan • Anticipates, identifies, tracks, and resolves issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Test and/or Application Teams. • Develop contingency plans as necessary • Research problems before approaching the Project Manager • Assists Application Teams to plan and execute component and assembly tests. • Participates in assembly or product test execution as required. Years of Relevant Experience: 5 plus years, and at least 1-year project management experience • Preferred Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study • Preference will be given to candidates who: • Have experience working with government agency programs • Experience as a regression tester • Experience writing test cases Apply tot his job
