Complete Description:
Ā The Tester is a member of a team which plans, constructs, and executes product tests, system tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, network tests as well as works with others for release control processes.
Ā The more experienced Tester manages, plans, constructs, and executes tests and integrates with release control process.
Education:
Preferred Education : 4-year college degree
Requirement Description:
Ā This position will function as a highly skilled Tester 2 for Client Project
Ā Management Office with specific responsibilities that include:
Ā Create test models for product test and release control (plans, data, and scripts).
Ā Execute assembly or product tests.
Ā Meet time estimates for assigned tasks.
Ā Communicate accurate status updates.
Ā Follow quality standards.
Ā Ability to work in a team environment Complete assigned task.
Ā Strong communication skills; both written and spoken Define product test plans and criteria for acceptance.
Ā Resolve testing process questions / issues.
Ā Assist in the planning, creation, and control of the test environments.
Ā Assist Team Lead in monitoring estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks.
Ā Work to enhance testing skills and build technical and business knowledge.
Ā Update and test release installation procedures.
Ā Generally aware of new developments in industry and processes and ability to apply to work as appropriate.
Ā Determine time estimates and schedule for work efforts.
Ā Define and utilize entry / exit criteria for testing.
Ā Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Skills:
Ā Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.
Ā Have excellent oral and written skills.
Ā Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
Ā Experience utilizing agile tool sets including GIT and Azure Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Ā 3 years' experience with Agile projects
Ā 3 years' experience in analyzing data elements of enterprise applications; determining how the data elements relate to each other
Ā 3 years' experience in using Microsoft products; SQL, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Ā 3 years' experience in the analysis of business requirements, functional and non-functional
Ā 3 years' experience using versioning tools: GIT, any versioning tool
