Test Development Engineer I

The Test Development Engineer I will support the development of advanced test systems and methodologies for ZOLL medical devices, focusing on designing, testing, and validating test systems. Responsibilities Develop test methods and procedures to support manual and automated testing of ZOLL products Design, document, update and validate and improvements for custom test hardware and software used in ZOLL test stations Develop and update test requirements and plans used for supporting test stands and processes Debug test fixtures and systems using common lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, etc.) Prototype, build and debug circuit boards, cables and other components for use in ZOLL test systems Document test results and analyze data using statistical tools to prepare technical reports Support continuous improvement initiatives for ZOLL product testing while ensuring good manufacturing practices (cGMP) are maintained Skills Bachelor's Degree Science Degree (EE, ME, preferred) required 0-2 years of engineering, technical or manufacturing experience required Basic electro-mechanical skills, to include assembly, dis-assembly and repair assemblies Familiar with basic engineering lab equipment and measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, etc.) Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with analog and digital circuitry preferred, high-voltage a plus Experience with test automation software such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C/C# a plus Benefits Comprehensive benefits plans Company Overview At ZOLLยฎ, weโre passionate about improving patient outcomes and helping save lives.
