Test Automation Engineer - Germany
Key responsibilities:
Propose a test automation strategy/plan, facilitating automated scripts maintenance and design (framework, modularization etc.)Design efficient functional test scenarios and cases ensuring there is traceability back to all business requirementsIntegrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure early detection of defects and provide rapid feedback to development teamsSchedule automated execution according to the shared best practicesIdentify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systemsPerform the automated execution results analysis and debug automated test scriptsCreate clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain consistency in testing processesDefine required test environment and test data needsCoordinate test data requests/create test dataCreate test reports / Support test reports / Support risk assessment
What we are looking for:
Previous experience with low code automation frameworks (Tosca) Previous experience in Web UI and API Automation with Java, Selenium, Maven, GIT, Rest AssuredPrevious experience in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.) Good testing and troubleshooting experience across the software development lifecycleGood planning, organization, and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to communicate efficiently with the team (business, developers, PO)Effective communication skills for conveying test strategies & plan for automationDebugging skills & analytical skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Agile methodologyVery good/advanced level of English

Experience in banking projectsISTQB certification would be a plusPrevious experience with CI/CD pipelines
