Summary of the role:

We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support a smooth, organized, and positive hiring process for candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams. This role is responsible for coordinating interviews, managing recruiting logistics, maintaining accurate candidate records, and helping ensure an excellent candidate experience from first contact through offer stage.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is a part-time (25-36 hours per week), temporary (3-4 month) assignment, remote within the west coast of the United States, preferably in Southern California


What you will be doing (essential responsibilities):

Scheduling interviews and managing recruiting logistics
Communicating with candidates and internal stakeholders- hiring managers, human resources
Maintaining accurate candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System: Paylocity
Coordinating interview panels, debriefs, and feedback collection
Supporting job postings, offer logistics, and recruiting events
Handling hiring manager requests for job descriptions, information, compensation and job posting
Update job posting templates in Paylocity (Applicant Tracking System)
Coordinate candidate reference checks
Assist recruiting process with sourcing and resume distribution.
Provide administrative support and handle the flow of candidates throughout the recruitment process
Liaison with HR Generalist to provide seamless transition to onboarding
Participate in HR department meetings and assist in writing job postings and employment ads
Identifying opportunities to improve recruiting coordination processes
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Requirements
Your areas of knowledge and expertise...

Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, administrative support, or operations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple calendars, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience with applicant tracking systems- specifically Paylocity, scheduling tools- Google Calendar, Calendly across multiple time zones
Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively with candidates, recruiters, interviewers, and human resources
Professional, polished, and service-oriented approach.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality (i.e. compensation, job offers, promotions, etc.).
Ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
Ability to be flexible and adapt well to change.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred qualifications

Interest in recruiting operations, candidate experience, or talent programs
Bilingual in Spanish, a plus.

Benefits and how we take care of you

Compensation:

The compensation range for this parttime temporary position is $24-$28 per hour. The base pay that will actually be offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Where you will sit & the places you may go…

The ideal candidate will sit preferably in the Southern California or on the west coast area (PST) of the United States. This position may require up to 10% out-of-town travel to regional offices and special projects such as org-wide celebrations, team building exercises, etc. Availability to work nights and weekends may very rarely be required. GRID Alternatives may provide vehicles for work travel and/or travel reimbursement for personal vehicle use. In this instance, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
