We can’t wait to welcome you.About the RoleThe Manager of Financial Reporting is primarily responsible for the internal and external financial reporting of the Company. The responsibility includes internal monthly consolidation and reporting as well as the quarterly external reporting and filing of all SEC documents.This position will beREMOTEand require candidates to work up to 40hours per week. The hourly rate for this role ranges between $35-$50/hour.What you’ll doOversee Financial Reporting team processes including: Monthly Internal reporting process which includes the preparation of a consolidated Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash flowsQuarterly external financial reporting such as preparation and review of Quarterly SEC documentsStay abreast of SEC rulemaking activity and work with the Senior Director of Technical Accounting to assess the impact of the financial statement presentation for AngiProvide training and mentorship directly to financial reporting accountantSupport internal and external audit programs by engaging with auditors on questions related to financial reporting and by providing requested information timelyWho you areBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, FinanceAt least 6 to 8 years public company accounting experience Thorough understanding US GAAP and SEC Reporting requirementsMust be proactive in identifying process improvements and take initiative to diagnosis and remediate potential issuesMust work well in a team setting and be able to foster inter-departmental cooperation in compliance effortsMust be highly organized and detail orientedAbility to multi-task on multiple projects/assignmentsMust be articulate and confident in communication of ideas, issues, and resolutions to a broad audience (e.g. executive management, staff, internal external auditors, etc.)Exceptional problem solving and analytical skillsExceptional planning and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential and sensitive mattersWe value diversityWe know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems.
