Temporary Compliance Analyst
About This Position This is a temporary W-2 contract position. The individual selected for this role will be employed by one of our approved staffing partners. Assignment duration, benefits, and employment terms will be managed by the staffing partner. How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the insurance investment management compliance program, with a focus on ensuring the General Account, Managed Separate Accounts, and Reinsurance Trust Accounts comply with applicable policies and procedures and investment guidelines. Key Responsibilities: • Support the day-to-day operations of the compliance oversight program for the accounts. • Perform compliance monitoring and testing for the accounts; investigate post-trade compliance alerts, working with various internal and external stakeholders to reconcile data issues; raise questions as appropriate to ensure reasonable solutions to business needs. • Convey identified compliance issues to asset managers and document corrective action as appropriate. • Compile data and provide periodic reporting to various internal stakeholders. • Prepare account compliance certifications. • Analyze hundreds of account investment guidelines and share responsibility with team members for coding them into the BlackRock Aladdin system (Aladdin) in coordination with other internal stakeholders. Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: • Bachelor’s degree required • 4+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry • Exposure to and/or experience with investment compliance monitoring preferred • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex and diverse information • Systems knowledge: BlackRock Aladdin, Excel • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels • Able to work successfully both independently and in a team environment Contract Duration: 6 months (Contract length undefined, could be long term in nature but no minimum contract length is guaranteed.) Work Schedule: We’re looking for up to full-time support to cover team absences and are open to flexible arrangements.
