Key Responsibilities:

Determine eligibility for benefits and provide accurate support to applicants
Apply program rules to complex and dynamic situations
Provide empathetic and respectful customer service to clients via phone and in-person
Collaborate with a team to achieve goals and support the well-being of children and families
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and procedures to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in a customer service environment with computer program use and clerical work
OR Bachelor's degree in a human service or financial field
OR 1+ year of experience as a Benefits Programs Specialist Trainee
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
