In this role, you will be an integral part of the local community, providing essential financial services to residents, employees, and local businesses. As a Teller, you will support customer engagement by processing transactions, sharing digital solutions, and making appropriate introductions to bankers. You will also complete operational activities while minimizing risks under established policies, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include performing routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks through a solid understanding of bank procedures and products. You will receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures, escalating questions and issues to more experienced roles when necessary. Building relationships with customers is key, as you will interact with them to demonstrate care and complete requested transactions. Additionally, you will identify information and services to meet customers' financial needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a customer service focus, with the ability to handle complex transactions across multiple systems. You will educate and connect customers to technology, sharing the value of mobile banking options. The position may require working a schedule that includes most Saturdays, and it is important to note that this position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
• Support customer engagement by processing teller transactions, sharing digital solutions, and making appropriate introductions to bankers.

Requirements
• 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

• Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
,
• Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
,
• Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
,
• Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
,
• Cash handling experience.
,
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
,
• Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
,
• Well-organized, independent, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
,
• Ability to exercise judgment, raise questions to management, and adhere to policy guidelines.

Nice-to-haves
• Relevant military experience including working in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources or military recruiting.

• Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
