Teletherapy Speech Therapy in NY
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting. This role focuses on delivering teletherapy support to students, helping improve their communication skills through remote sessions.
Responsibilities include:
ā¢ Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments via telepractice platforms.
ā¢ Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
ā¢ Providing direct therapy sessions to students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
ā¢ Collaborating with educators and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
ā¢ Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Desired qualifications:
ā¢ Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification appropriate for the state.
ā¢ Experience delivering speech therapy via telehealth or telespeech methods.
ā¢ Strong understanding of speech and language disorders in school-aged children.
ā¢ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
ā¢ Ability to engage students effectively in a virtual environment.
