A full-time contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist in Hastings, NE, providing essential services within a school setting. The assignment runs from August 13, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with guaranteed hours totaling 37.5 per week. This role emphasizes direct and indirect speech-language services without additional district duties such as bus duty or parent pickup.
Key responsibilities include:
⢠Delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students
⢠Implementing effective treatment plans aligned with individual student needs
⢠Collaborating with educators and support staff to monitor student progress
⢠Engaging in telespeech services as part of the therapy approach, when applicable
⢠Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
Preferred qualifications and experience:
⢠Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or equivalent)
⢠Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent supervised professional experience
⢠Experience in a school-based setting with strong knowledge of educational speech services
⢠Ability to provide telespeech therapy confidently and effectively
⢠Strong communication skills and dedication to student outcomes
