Telemetry RN in Independence, MO
A Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience is needed for a contract opportunity located in Independence, MO. This role requires a minimum of one year of Telemetry RN experience and current RN licensure with BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience with EMR systems is helpful, though not required, as training on Altera Sunrise (similar to Cerner) will be provided.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Active RN license
ā¢ Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience
ā¢ BLS and ACLS certification
ā¢ Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
ā¢ Flexibility to float to different units as needed
ā¢ Nicotine-free facility policy compliance
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care to patients
ā¢ Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes
ā¢ Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
ā¢ Participate in orientation and training sessions as scheduled
ā¢ Adhere to facility policies, including nicotine-free regulations
Schedule:
ā¢ 8-hour shifts
ā¢ Every other weekend required
ā¢ Holiday work required unless requested off in advance
ā¢ Floating to different units within the hospital
