Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Warwick, RI

Provide specialized nursing care as a Registered Nurse on a telemetry unit, delivering expert patient monitoring and support in a fast-paced hospital environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your telemetry nursing skills and contribute to patient recovery and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings and vital signs to identify patient status changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with accuracy and attention to patient response
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition, providing critical interventions when necessary

Desired Qualifications:
• Current RN license with telemetry nursing experience required
• Strong skills in interpreting EKGs and cardiac monitoring systems
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly
• Prior experience in a hospital telemetry unit preferred
• Exceptional clinical judgment and attention to detail
