Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Three Rivers, MI

Responsibilities:
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, including STEMI and NSTEMI patients, using remote and bedside monitoring systems
• Administer cardiac-specific therapies such as drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive cardiac care
• Accurately document patient data using Cerner Powerchart
• Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Maintain compliance with established protocols and standards for cardiac telemetry nursing
Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse license with telemetry nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in telemetry or cardiac care
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Comfortable managing patient ratios typically between 1:5-6, occasionally up to 1:7
• Ability and willingness to work night shifts (1900-0730) with a 4x12 schedule
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; first-time travelers are welcome
• No weekend call required; holiday work expected 2 out of 3 holidays
Schedule:
• Four 12-hour night shifts per week (1900 – 0730)
• Guaranteed minimum hours: 36 per week
• Weekend requirements every other weekend
• Block scheduling not guaranteed, but managers strive to accommodate
