Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Blue Springs, MO
An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to support patient care in a contract role located in Blue Springs, MO. This position focuses on delivering specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients, accurately monitoring cardiac rhythms.
ā¢ Utilize clinical judgment to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
ā¢ Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
ā¢ Adhere to facility policies including nicotine-free environment standards.
ā¢ Participate in orientation, including the initial five-day onboarding process related to the healthcare system and specific unit protocols.
ā¢ Float between units as needed and work every other weekend and holidays unless otherwise approved for time off.
Qualifications and Experience:
ā¢ Active RN license.
ā¢ Minimum of one year telemetry nursing experience required.
ā¢ Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
ā¢ Experience with EMR systems preferred; familiarity with Cerner is beneficial since the facility uses Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts).
ā¢ New graduates are not eligible for this position.

Additional Details:
ā¢ Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with weekends and holidays as outlined.

ā¢ The facility reserves the right to cancel one shift per pay period with minimum notice.
