Then look no further than our immediate opening for a Fill-In Remote Telemedicine Optometrist. Pick the days that work for you! We typically have 2-5 shifts/week to pick up, perfect if you're working elsewhere part-time or want a flexible schedule! Recent grads and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply! About the Practice Located in what is dubbed as the city of festivals, our practice sits in one of the favorite destinations for foodies and music lovers in California. It is known for its number of tourist destinations that will surely hook you to relocating to one of the fastest-growing cities, southeast of Los Angeles. We’re proud to serve as a trusted resource for comprehensive eye exams and vision testing. Our team of staff believes in values based on trust, honesty, and excellence creating an environment of commitment and compassion for all. We have a patient-first model of care that underlies all our systems and processes which are designed to deliver the exceptional standards of eye healthcare. We serve an underprivileged Hispanic community in a rural area with little to no access to healthcare. Our telemedicine modality is employed to increase access of care for this vulnerable population in light of a shortage of doctors willing to move to our location. In person FT employment opportunities for OD’s are also available. Our offices are modern and we use state-of-the-art equipment, such as Optos, OCT, ERG/VEP, VF, B scan and more to diagnose diseases. We treat a variety of pathological conditions such as; glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. About the Position Our new Telemedicine Optometrists will be a welcome addition to our team and family and are expected to: • Perform remote refractions from the comfort of your home • Remotely monitor patients • Perform video consultations • Evaluate anterior and posterior segment images and videos • Refer to one of our in house doctors for any abnormalities that need to be evaluated in person • See 16-24 patients/day OD Must have a CA license and be Glaucoma certified.
