Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist - New York
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide telespeech services in a school setting. This position focuses on Extended School Year (ESY) support, working with students from Kindergarten through 8th grade who present with various behavioral challenges.
Location: Sodus, NY
Schedule: 2-3 days per week
Duration: July 6th August 14th
Service Mode: Open to VOCO (Voice Output Communication Aids)
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Deliver specialized speech-language therapy via telepractice to K-8 students with diverse communication needs.
ā¢ Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students with behavioral challenges.
ā¢ Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals across academic and social settings.
ā¢ Use VOCO technology as appropriate to enhance communication outcomes.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
ā¢ Experience working in school environments, especially with K-8 grade levels.
ā¢ Familiarity and comfort with telespeech service delivery.
ā¢ Ability to manage and support students exhibiting behavioral difficulties.
ā¢ Flexibility to provide services 2-3 days per week throughout the ESY session.
