Telehealth Physician – Handicap Placard Evaluations (Remote, Flexible)
About ParkingMD: ParkingMD is a telehealth service that connects patients with licensed physicians to complete the medical certification required for handicap parking placards. Most people don't realize they need a doctor's signature before the DMV will issue a placard—we make that process simple, fast, and accessible for elderly and disabled individuals across the country. The Role: We're looking for licensed physicians (MD/DO) to review patient applications and provide medical certifications for handicap parking placards. What You'll Do: • Review patient-submitted health information and medical records • Conduct thorough medical evaluations via phone or video call • Determine medical eligibility for handicap parking certification • Complete state-required physician certification forms • Maintain accurate documentation in our HIPAA-compliant platform Requirements: • Active MD or DO license in one or more U.S. states • Current malpractice insurance coverage • Reliable internet connection and private space for phone/video consultations • Commitment to 24-hour turnaround on assigned evaluations Preferred: • Telehealth experience • Moderate technology skills • Licenses in high-need states: Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming (we need coverage in all 50 states) Compensation: $40,000 – $70,000 annually. Flexible scheduling allows you to fit evaluations around your existing practice or commitments.
